Cháo gà sò điệp với vị mềm thơm của gạo hòa quyện với vị ngọt đậm đà của thịt gà, thơm thơm vị biển của sò điệp tạo nên món ăn vô cùng mới lạ và hấp dẫn. Trước tiên bạn ngâm sò điệp khô với nước cho mềm, sau đó xé nhỏ. Gạo bạn đem đi vo sạch, sau đó ướp cùng 1 muỗng cà phê dầu ăn khoảng 30 phút. Gà mua về bạn làm sạch sau đó chặt thành từng miếng nhỏ vừa ăn, ướp với rượu, nước tương và hạt tiêu trong khoảng 30 phút cho gà thấm gia vị.
Bắc nồi lên bếp và nấu sôi 1,5 lít nước, sau đó bạn cho gạo cùng sò điệp vào nấu trên lửa lớn trong khoảng 10 phút (Đừng đậy nắp nhé!). Sau khoảng 10 phút hẵng đậy nắp lại rồi nấu tiếp với lửa nhỏ trong khoảng 30 phút. Rồi sau đó cứ 10 phút thì lại mở nắp ra và khuấy nồi cháo để không bị dính đáy.
Khi thấy gạo đã bắt đầu nở bạn mở nắp ra cho gà vào nấu tiếp đến khi gà chín. Nêm muối, hạt tiêu và các gia vị khác cho vừa ăn, khuấy đều nồi cháo rồi tắt bếp.
Múc cháo ra tô và trang trí với 1 vài cọng hành lá băm là xong.
