We have a restored mid century modern kitchen and try to use vintage tableware to go with it. The ceramic dishes from 60 years ago are very tough. They don't make them like that anymore. To guard against the inevitable breakage, we have stockpiled spare dish sets from the second hand market. Here comes the double edge sword of the retro-vintage life style: the 1960 bungalow galley kitchen doesn't have the butler's pantry in a 1900 mansion. You have to store all dishes beyond a service for 6 in the basement, loft, garage, rented storage unit, etc. The safest and most efficient way that I have found are these inexpensive quilted tableware storage chests. They are space efficient and protect the individual pieces so you can store them in heavy duty plastic totes. No packing paper or bubble wrap needed. The cup storage chest uses thin fiberboard in the sides and for separators. It is adequate, but don't stack plates on top of it. I remember my mother had stitched up something similar for her wedding china. If it is good enough for Mom's wedding china, it is good enough for my Franciscan Starburst.

I needed a way to store a collection of Christmas mugs from year to year. I was concerned that because they are oversized mugs, this might not work. But, when I received it, I opened it and was able to put all 12 in by alternating them up and down. Perfect solution!

I first ordered one as part of a larger order to store coffee cups and then reordered this when I realized by removing or reconfiguring the cup inserts I could also use the chest to store odd china pieces. I reinforced the top with a piece of sturdier cardboard in order to stack the pieces although I may have been able to eliminate this step. The zipper is decent, has a placeholder to label the items, and is soft sided. I also have a platter storage set by the same company, again satisfactory for my needs, and coordinates well with some rigid china storage pieces I already owned.

Pretty sturdy for storage (must be in another box to be moved safely). I like the material--soft and sturdy--and the zipper is sturdy and easy to find, with a pull on it. There is a label, which is also nice

I have had many storage containers like this one - over the years. My only disappointment is the fabric. It is the kind of fabric that 'catches' on anything rough.

This was good quality for the price I paid. It will keep my cups/glasses safe while in storage. By storage, I mean in a closet while not in use. I would not use this to protect during shipping or out anything heavy on top of it. But it is not designed for that. It was exactly what I was looking for.

This case was more than i expected. Great quality. I definitely made a good buy, it is underpriced for the quality.

Sturdy container, could get two cups with a little padding in each pocket. Works very well. Arrived quickly. Thanks seller!!

Very nice cup/mug container. Holds both my holiday mug and cups. Very compact, exactly as described.

it is good looking and sturdy i will store my cups in it
